For Experienced Family Law Attorneys

What You'll Do:

  • Provide expert legal counsel on divorce, child custody, spousal support, and complex family law matters
  • Handle client consultations and build lasting client relationships
  • Represent clients in court, negotiations, and mediation across multiple counties
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective case strategies
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
  • Work autonomously while supported by your dedicated paralegal partner

What We're Looking For:

  • JD from an accredited law school and active NY bar membership
  • Minimum 5 years of family law experience
  • Strong courtroom presence and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to mediation and collaborative divorce (training provided if needed)
  • Team player who values collaboration with paralegals and fellow attorneys
  • Solo practitioners considering firm life are encouraged to apply

For Litigation Paralegals

What You'll Do:

  • Partner directly with experienced family law attorneys as an integral team member
  • Manage attorney calendars and case deadlines with precision
  • Assist with legal writing, research, and document preparation
  • Act as liaison between attorneys and clients, providing compassionate communication
  • Prepare pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas, and court filings
  • Conduct client and witness interviews and preparation
  • Organize and maintain case files and documentation
  • Support all phases of family law litigation

What We're Looking For:

  • Experienced litigation paralegal with family law background preferred
  • Detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Team player with a client-focused mindset
  • Certification as a family law paralegal is a plus
