EDUCATION & LEGAL CAREER Ms. Farris received a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology, with a concentration in pre-med, from Binghamton University and her Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University, Thomas M. Cooley Law School, with a certificate in litigation. Her passion for Family Law and her vast knowledge of Divorce, Child Custody and spousal/child support matters, began with her prior employment at the Orange County Attorney's Office wherein she assisted in the prosecution of Juvenile Delinquency and Child Abuse and Neglect cases. Ms. Farris' zeal for litigation carried over to her next position as an Associate Attorney in a high profile Family and Criminal law firm in Orange County, New York. Kristen has extensive experience handling complex cases for child custody, visitation and support issues; spousal support; equitable distribution of marital assets and debts; and the complicated issues of military divorces. Kristen has worked with abused and neglected children, domestic violence victims, men and women in uniform, single parents, and working families.
