Bianca Carcione started her career as an administrative assistant at Matrix Steel Company in Brooklyn, NY. There she developed skills of data entry, scheduling, invoicing and customer service. With this base of knowledge, she obtained a position as a legal assistant/secretary at Lawrence and Walsh, P.C. in Hempstead, NY. Ms. Carcione acted as a liaison between attorneys, paralegals and clients. She managed their office calendar and court schedule and was an employee to rely on to handle the necessary and tedious tasks that keep an office running smoothly such as filing, faxing, and ordering supplies. She assisted attorneys by collecting data for preparation, drafting and revising legal documents, and invoicing and enclosures. All of these tasks were handled while also answering multiline phones and greeting clients.
After a few years in the field, Bianca relocated to the Hudson Valley and
decided to pursue a different career path that she also had a passion
for, cosmetology. She worked as a retail beauty advisor before enrolling
in school to become an esthetician at Capri Cosmetology Learning Center
in Newburgh, NY. Ms. Carcione learned how to inform clients of their options,
to follow New York State guidelines, and technical beauty and skincare
Ms. Carcione decided to return to Long Island and her original passion, the legal field. She joined the office of Farber and Troy- Attorneys at Law in Woodbury, NY as their receptionist, secretary and legal assistant. The abilities she gathered from her previous employment were expanded upon as Bianca needed to perform in a high traffic office requiring her to develop high concentration skills. Drawing from her customer service in cosmetology she was able to form compassionate and patient telephone relationships with clients.
She couldn’t stay away from the beautiful Hudson Valley for long and in 2008 the Law Office of Dennis R. Vetrano Jr., LLC was thrilled to add her as a key part of the support staff. Bianca does anything and everything, from greeting clients and setting up consultation appointments to taking payments, filing, answering multiple phone calls at a time and administrative paperwork. She continues to grow as new tasks are given and assists wherever needed. Her past cosmetology skills also are an asset as she is the perfect person for styling advice for staff marketing photos. On the rare occasion she is not in the office, her skills are truly missed.
