As a lifelong resident of Dutchess County, Rachel A. Walker graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marist College in 2007 and went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School in 2010. While in law school Rachel practiced as a Student Attorney through the Dutchess County District Attorney's office in the Special Victims Bureau. As a Student Attorney, Ms. Walker handled cases ranging from felony sex abuse to misdemeanor domestic violence.
Following graduation, Ms. Walker began her legal career working primarily
in the areas of Family and Matrimonial law, as well as Criminal Defense.
In 2013, Ms. Walker was selected by all three Dutchess County Family Court
Judges for appointment to the Dutchess County Family Court, County Law
Section 18-b counsel panel. As a member of the panel, Ms. Walker immediately
began receiving case assignments to represent clients in virtually every
type of Family Law matter; including but not limited to, Child Custody
and Visitation, Family Offenses/Orders of Protection and Child Abuse and
Ms. Walker spent 2 years as Of Counsel to KasniaLaw, PLLC and worked both as an Associate Attorney at the law office of Jonna Spilbor Law and as a Sole Practitioner. Rachel amassed substantial Divorce and Family Law Litigation experience prior to joining the team at the Law Office of Dennis R. Vetrano, Jr., LLC in 2014. Throughout her entire legal career, Rachel A. Walker, Esq., has represented clients regarding each and every conceivable Divorce and Family Law issue.
