Christal established strong ties to our local community having attended Lourdes High School right here in the Hudson Valley. She graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Thereafter, she graduated from Albany Law School and was the 2001 recipient of the Albany Law School Civil Rights and Disabilities Law Project Award for her dedication to assisting those with disabilities.
Upon graduation from Law School, Christal began her career in Law working for the New York State Department of Education. Shortly thereafter in 2003, and in keeping with her passion to help those most in need of her services, Christal took on the role of Staff Attorney with Hudson Valley Legal Services representing domestic violence victims and never looked back. Ms. Prinz spent the next three years litigating Divorce and Family Law cases until she accepted a position in 2010 as an Associate Attorney with Jakubowski, Robertson, Maffei, Goldsmith & Tartaglia, LLP in St. James, NY, wherein she spent four years representing clients in predominantly Divorce and Family Law matters. At Jakubowski, Robertson, Maffei, Goldsmith & Tartaglia, LLP Ms. Prinz handled all aspects of Divorce cases from initial consultation up through trial and appeal including, but not limited to, the following: motion practice, settlement negotiations, court appearances, and witness and trial preparation. Ms. Prinz has spent approximately 15 years litigating Divorce and Family Law issues, handling everything from domestic violence and child neglect proceedings to complex high asset divorce and contentious child custody situations. During her career, Ms. Prinz has represented hundreds of Divorce and Family Law clients throughout Long Island, New York City and the Hudson Valley.
In 2020, Christal joined our team of dedicated professionals at the Law Office of Dennis R. Vetrano, Jr., LLC as a Litigation Associate and since then has been representing Divorce and Family law clients in each and all of the surrounding counties including, but not limited to, the following: Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange, Dutchess and Ulster. Ms. Prinz has handled every phase of litigation from the initial consultation up through, and including, trial. Christal has successfully argued cases on appeal before the Appellate Division. She comes highly rated by her peers on Martindale-Hubbell as professional and a strong advocate for her clients.
